I’m Monica (she/they), a producer, filmmaker, and multidisciplinary creative based in the Bay Area and in New York City! I graduated from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Film & TV and a minor in Social & Cultural Analysis.

From producing and writing/directing to video editing and animating, I work across all sorts of storytelling disciplines. Regardless of the medium, I want to make work that reaches, moves, and touches people. I’m deeply committed to world-building and telling stories that cultivate our imaginations and hopes for a kinder future. We have to be able to imagine what kind of world we want to live in before we can blaze a trail towards it, and I dream of a liberated world… a world that doesn’t leave anyone behind!

Currently, I am a producer at Meta's in-house agency, Creative X. Previously, I was a part-time barista. Here's my ultra mega top secret latte art page... shhh…

When I am not entirely consumed by current projects, I can often, instead, be found consuming artisanal ice cream, karaoke-ing (2000’s R&B and Cantopop!), practicing Muay Thai, watching movies, and rating aforementioned movies on my Letterboxd. :)
